World record-breaking endurance athlete and entrepreneur Spencer Matthews has been announced as the headline speaker for BizzFest 2026, a festival-inspired business gathering in Essex. The event will take place at Cressing Temple Barns on Thursday, September 17.
Three Guinness World Records and extraordinary endurance feats
Spencer holds three Guinness World Record titles and has built a reputation for taking on challenges that test the limits of physical and mental endurance. Most recently, he set the world record for the fastest completion of an Ironman-distance triathlon on all seven continents, finishing the challenge in just 21 days, nine hours and 18 minutes. This achievement included another world record for the fastest Ironman-distance triathlon in Antarctica, completed in 28 hours, 51 minutes and 11 seconds.
This followed his extraordinary 2024 challenge in which he completed 30 marathons in 30 days on sand, earning his first Guinness World Record title. Spencer has also completed the Jungle Ultra and Marathon des Sables, recognised as two of the world's most demanding ultramarathon endurance races, and is currently training to run a 2.45 marathon as part of his 'Road to 2:45' YouTube series.
From entrepreneur to podcast host
As an entrepreneur, Spencer founded CleanCo in 2019 following his own changing relationship with alcohol. The award-winning non-alcoholic spirits brand is now sold globally. He is also host of the 'UNTAPPED' podcast, where he speaks to people from different walks of life about the challenges they have overcome and how they have discovered their untapped potential.
