British Gas is urging its customers to take action before June 30 for a chance to win a £16,000 boost. The energy company says “the ultimate prize is up for grabs” when you join its membership as an energy customer.
£16,410 cash prize up for grabs
British Gas is offering a whopping £16,410 cash prize to one customer – the equivalent of 10 years' energy costs based on average household bills. To enter, simply become a member and sign up for the Win Your Bill competition before 30 June.
Mark Berryman from British Gas said: “At a time when household bills continue to be a significant expense for many, we know people are looking for practical ways to save and we believe this could make a real difference.”
He added: “We've helped customers save over £2 million since launching British Gas Membership last year. We're proud to build on that momentum by introducing the chance for our members to win 10-years'-worth of free energy in this month's prize draw.”
Free membership with exclusive benefits
The energy giant, which serves Birmingham households, explained: “British Gas Membership is free to join and open to all British Gas customers. Members get access to exclusive offers, discounts, prizes and more. It’s our way of saying thanks for being with us.”
Upon signing up, customers receive a welcome email within 5-10 minutes. Clicking the email directs them to their membership wallet containing special offers. British Gas also emails members when new offers become available.
Customers can opt out at any time by logging into their wallet and cancelling in account settings, but will lose access to exclusive discounts and prize draws. They can rejoin for free at any time.
