Cybersecurity Firm Stripe OLT Acquired by Littlefish Group in Major Deal
A Bristol-headquartered cybersecurity company has been purchased for an undisclosed sum by an IT services firm, resulting in the creation of a combined organization with around 900 staff members. Stripe OLT, which maintains additional offices in Manchester and London, will now operate as part of Littlefish Group, a company with locations in Nottingham, Sheffield, London, and Ireland.
Expansion and Strategic Growth in the Cybersecurity Market
Littlefish Group has stated that this acquisition will "further solidify" its position within a rapidly expanding market and represents a "major milestone" for the business. The deal is expected to help Littlefish accelerate the growth of its managed services and advanced cybersecurity operations throughout the United Kingdom.
Ursula Morgenstern, Chief Executive of Littlefish Group, commented: "This acquisition is a decisive step in how we scale the business. Our ambition is to build a truly end-to-end services organisation, with a user-centric approach at its core—to help organisations work smarter, reduce friction, operate safely and deliver better outcomes for their people."
Morgenstern added: "Stripe OLT is a fast-growing, Microsoft-focused business with deep cyber capability and a culture that closely mirrors our own. Bringing their team into the group strengthens our security proposition, accelerates our growth, and meaningfully enhances the value we deliver to customers."
Enhanced Capabilities and Client Benefits
Following the acquisition, Littlefish Group plans to utilize Stripe OLT's extensive Microsoft expertise to "elevate workplace experiences and transform outcomes" for its customers. Current clients of Littlefish include University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Trust, PureGym, and Brentford Football Club.
Stripe OLT, founded in 2004 by Mark Dale, specializes in supporting and protecting critical infrastructure for established organizations across various sectors, including:
- Finance
- Legal
- Transport
- Public Sector
- Healthcare
The firm's client portfolio features notable names such as The NHS Confederation, Haseltine Lake Kempner, Bristol Airport, and MoneySuperMarket Group.
Future Prospects and Shared Ambitions
Mark Dale expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership, stating: "Joining Littlefish Group marks an exciting next chapter for our business. Having grown year on year since 2021, it was important to partner with an organisation that shares our ambition and values."
Dale further explained: "This move allows us to scale our impact, creating greater opportunities for our people and enhanced capabilities for our clients, while remaining focused on end-user centricity."
The acquisition underscores a strategic move to consolidate resources and expertise in the competitive cybersecurity and IT services landscape, positioning the enlarged company for sustained growth and innovation in the coming years.
