Gatwick Northern Runway Project Clears Legal Hurdle
Surrey Chambers reported positive news for Gatwick Airport, with its Northern Runway Project clearing the final remaining legal challenge. As a key part of the South East’s transport infrastructure, the development is particularly significant for Surrey businesses, strengthening connectivity, supporting regional growth, and creating opportunities across local supply chains. The project will enable Gatwick to handle around 100,000 additional flights a year, improving access to markets, customers, and talent both within the UK and internationally. For Surrey, this represents an important opportunity for businesses to benefit from improved connectivity, increased trade, and new supply chain opportunities.
