Morrisons Brings Back Free Kids Breakfasts for Half-Term Holidays
Morrisons Free Kids Breakfasts Return for Half-Term

Morrisons is bringing back its free breakfast offer for children during the May half-term holiday. The supermarket chain, which operates stores in Birmingham, will allow kids to eat for free every day throughout the school break.

Breakfast Club Returns

Morrisons' breakfast club returns to in-store cafés from May 25, offering families across the UK a complimentary breakfast. The promotion runs until May 31 and can be redeemed at any time of day.

Children and their families can choose between Corn Flakes or Rice Krispies, served with dairy or non-dairy milk. Customers simply need to ask for "Kellogg's breakfast" at the till in any UK Morrisons Café to claim the offer.

Supporting Families

Matt Khan, senior trader for Morrisons Café, said: "We know the school holidays can bring extra pressures for families, from food costs to keeping routines in place. We're here to help by opening our Café spaces up for Breakfast Clubs to give families a chance to enjoy a simple, balanced breakfast together."

This initiative extends Kellogg's long-running school breakfast club support, which has been active since 1998. Additionally, Morrisons offers one free kids' meal with any adult main meal costing over £5 every day for children under 16.

Pay Deal Approved

Morrisons also announced that its proposed pay deal for Supermarket and Manufacturing colleagues covered by the national agreement with USDAW received 91.87% approval in a recent ballot. All eligible hourly paid colleagues will receive a one-off fixed payment between £25 and £175 based on their contractual hours.

Earlier, on March 30, 2026, Morrisons increased its Customer Assistant pay rate from £12.21 to £12.71, aligning with the new National Living Wage.

Jodie Keating, Group People Director of Morrisons, said: "We're pleased that we can now implement the pay proposal and increase pay for our colleagues to reward them for the contribution they make to our business. I would like to thank all our colleagues for everything they continue to do for Morrisons."
