Santander has issued an important update for its customers, who could be eligible for a £1000 payment. However, the banking giant has warned that people only have a few days left to take action, as reported by Express.co.uk.

The offer is part of Santander's 'Accelerate Your Savings Free Draw'. In a post shared on social media, the bank stated that customers could win £1000. The promotion is exclusively available to Santander UK savings and current account customers.
Eligible customers must enter by Sunday, May 24. Participants must be aged 18 or over and reside in UK households.
How to Enter
An Instagram post explained: "Fancy £1,000 to accelerate your savings? To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is: 1 Like this post 2 Follow us on Instagram @santanderuk 3 Comment 'CANADA' below."
The message continued: "Giveaway open to Santander UK savings and current account customers only. Prize draw closes Sunday, May 24, 2026. One entry per customer. Full T&Cs can be found in our bio. Winners will be contacted through the official @santanderuk Instagram account. Be cautious of any other accounts messaging you claiming to be Santander, it will be a scam."
Selection and Notification
Santander confirmed that correct entries will be selected on the Monday after the race, and winners will be notified by private message on that date. The Santander website provides additional terms and conditions.
It states: "Each race week only one entry per customer, per channel is permitted. If multiple entries are submitted by the same customer on the same channel, only the first entry will be valid. Customers are allowed to enter on both TikTok and Instagram, qualifying as 2 entries into the draw. This excludes all Santander UK employees and anyone associated with the competition."
There will be a minimum total of £1,000 to win each race week. Winners have 5 calendar days from receipt of the winning notification to confirm acceptance of the prize. Failure to respond in time will result in the prize being forfeited and another winner selected at random.
The promotion begins at 9am on the Wednesday before each race, and entries must be received no later than 11.59pm GMT/BST on the Sunday.
