High street bank Santander has issued a time-sensitive alert to its customers, urging them to act before a key January deadline to secure a valuable family discount package.
What is the Santander Kids Pass offer?
The bank has announced that its popular Kids Pass membership promotion will end on 26 January 2026. This offer provides customers with a free 12-month Kids Pass membership, typically valued at £39.99, when they open a new Santander savings account or Cash ISA.
The membership is designed to help families cut costs, granting access to thousands of discounts on activities like cinema trips, restaurant meals, days out at attractions, and even grocery shopping at major supermarkets including Sainsbury’s and Tesco. Santander states that the average pass holder saves around £400 annually.
How to claim the free membership
To be eligible for this deal, customers must meet several criteria. They need to be a UK resident aged 18 or over without an existing Kids Pass. The crucial steps are:
- Open a new Santander savings or cash ISA account before 23:59 on 26 January 2026.
- Set up online or mobile banking within 30 days of opening the account.
- Deposit and maintain a minimum of £100 into the new account within that same 30-day period.
