Perspective Financial Group Acquires Prosser Knowles in 17th 2025 Deal
Wealth manager Perspective acquires Prosser Knowles

Chorley-headquartered wealth management giant Perspective Financial Group has bolstered its national presence with the acquisition of Gloucestershire-based financial services firm Prosser Knowles Associates. The deal, completed for an undisclosed sum, marks the group's 17th acquisition in 2025 alone.

Strategic Expansion and Integration

The acquisition brings approximately £400 million in assets under advice into the Perspective fold. All 27 members of staff from Prosser Knowles will transfer as part of the transaction, with three individuals taking on new group-wide roles. The firm's offices in Gloucester and Droitwich will be retained but will be rebranded under the Perspective name.

Ian Wilkinson, chief executive of Perspective, hailed the move as a landmark. He emphasised the cultural fit, stating the Prosser Knowles team was "culturally aligned and built on the same client-centric philosophy" as his own firm.

Leadership Perspectives on the Partnership

Nick Aston, managing director of Prosser Knowles, expressed pride in partnering with Perspective after 38 years of independent operation. "This move supports our continued growth and ensures we can maintain exceptional service for our clients," he said.

Sam Ward, Perspective's head of M&A, highlighted the appeal of their partnership model, which allows acquired firms to retain their culture and client relationships while benefiting from the scale and resources of a larger organisation.

A Year of Aggressive Growth

This acquisition is a significant part of Perspective's rapid expansion strategy for 2025. To date, their 17 deals this year have collectively added:

  • £1.8 billion in assets under advice.
  • 73 new employees.
  • 8 additional offices across the UK.

Following this latest deal, the Perspective Financial Group now operates from a total of 57 offices nationwide and employs more than 750 staff, solidifying its position as a major force in the UK wealth management sector.
