The venue expressed confidence in restoring their previous five-star rating, noting that they have undergone a positive evaluation by the council and are working towards a full re-inspection as soon as possible. As part of their efforts, they have reviewed their food offering and made the decision to bring all food operations in-house to further strengthen standards and consistency.

1000 Trades was among 14 places in Birmingham awarded a zero food hygiene rating as of Sunday, April 5, 2026. Businesses that receive such a rating can be forced to close if imminent risks are identified, but they can legally reopen once those issues are addressed.
