Peppa Pig & Bluey Lead TV Stars at West Midlands Safari Park Half Term
Meet Peppa Pig & Bluey at West Midlands Safari Park

Families across the Midlands are in for a treat this February half term as a host of beloved children's television characters descend on West Midlands Safari Park. The popular attraction has announced a special nine-day event where youngsters can meet their small-screen heroes, including the ever-popular Peppa Pig and the hugely in-demand Bluey.

Star-Studded Line-Up for February Half Term

The event will run from Saturday, February 14, to Sunday, February 22, featuring a different character or duo each day. Kicking off the festivities is a first-time appearance from Gabby from Gabby's Dollhouse on the opening weekend. The schedule continues with Paddington, a debut for SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW Patrol's Chase, and Peppa Pig, before culminating with Bluey on the final weekend.

Bethan Davis, PR and events executive at West Midlands Safari Park, expressed her excitement: "We're thrilled to be welcoming a fantastic mix of returning favourites and brand-new characters. Some much-loved characters are back by popular demand, alongside exciting new additions, giving families even more reasons to visit and enjoy magical meet and greet moments as we reopen daily for the season."

How to Meet the Characters

The character appearances will take place in ticketed meet and greet sessions at the park's Safari Academy. Importantly, there is no additional cost beyond the standard admission ticket. Each session allows groups of up to six people to interact with the character and capture a photo memory.

The full character schedule is as follows:

  • Gabby's Dollhouse: Saturday, February 14 & Sunday, February 15
  • Paddington: Monday, February 16
  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Tuesday, February 17
  • PAW Patrol's Chase: Wednesday, February 18
  • Peppa Pig: Thursday, February 19 & Friday, February 20
  • Bluey: Saturday, February 21 & Sunday, February 22

More Than Just Character Fun

Beyond the star-studded meet and greets, the park's conservation team will be championing penguins during the half term period. Visitors can learn about these fascinating birds, make a penguin pledge, and support the work of the park's conservation partner, the Global Penguin Society.

All the classic park experiences are included in the admission price. This encompasses the four-mile Safari Drive, various walk-through animal areas, and daily animal talks and encounters. Children under three go free, and those booking online in advance receive a free return ticket valid for another visit within six months.

With Bluey's previous appearances selling out completely, early booking via the park's official website is highly recommended to avoid disappointment and secure a spot at these popular family events.
