The scale of travel disruption is immense, with experts comparing it to the 2010 Icelandic ash cloud crisis that caused widespread chaos for over a month. Since the onset of the conflict, a staggering 9,419 flights in the Middle East have been cancelled.

The United Arab Emirates, which includes major travel hubs like Dubai and Abu Dhabi, has been particularly affected. According to Cirium data, 1,056 flights were cancelled in the UAE on Sunday alone, highlighting the severe impact on air travel.
