Bristol Tech Firm Exacta Group Hits Record £8.5m Q1

A Bristol technology company that began operations in a small self-storage unit 25 years ago is celebrating a record-breaking start to its financial year. Exacta Group has announced revenue of £8.5 million for the first quarter of 2026, representing an increase of more than 60 percent compared to the same period last year.

Exceptional Growth Driven by Global Demand

The Emersons Green-based firm designs and manufactures servers and associated software. It owns two Bristol businesses: Exacta Technologies and Blackcore Technologies. The group serves a variety of sectors, including medical, engineering, finance, transport, and education.

According to Exacta, these results mark the strongest quarter in the company's 25-year history. The growth has been fueled by continued rising demand for high-performance server infrastructure and hardware worldwide.

Record Order Book and Future Outlook

The group closed the quarter with its highest order intake ever and anticipates achieving record revenue by the end of the first half of the year, as growth momentum carries into the second quarter.

David Osmond, chief executive of Exacta Group, said: “This has been an exceptional start to the year and our best quarter to date. Delivering more than 60 percent growth year-on-year in Q1 reflects both the strength of demand in the market and the incredible work of our team across the group.

“Just as importantly, we’re exiting the quarter with a record order book, which gives us real confidence in the months ahead. Momentum is strong, execution is strong, and we’re well positioned for continued growth through Q2 and beyond.”

Sustainable Scaling and Community Ties

Exacta, founded in 2001 by Nick Rogers, said its performance builds on strong growth last year as demand continues to accelerate across global markets. The company added that it remains focused on scaling sustainably while maintaining the quality, performance, and reliability its customers depend on.

Last year, Exacta announced a multi-year deal to become the sleeve sponsor for Bristol City Football Club, starting with the 2025-2026 season. Mr Rogers, a devoted Bristol City supporter, described the partnership as a “massive honour”.

“At Exacta, we help businesses unleash their potential through our technology, and through this agreement we look forward to playing a part in propelling Bristol City men’s and women’s teams up into the top flight,” he said.
