Home Bargains Sells Christmas Trees for Just £10.99 in Festive Price War
Bargain Christmas trees at Home Bargains for £10.99

A major UK discount retailer has sparked a festive frenzy by offering real Christmas trees for a remarkably low price, sending bargain hunters into a spin.

The Festive Find That Went Viral

A savvy customer managed to purchase a Christmas tree from Home Bargains for just £10.99. The shopper shared their discovery on the popular Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, posting an image of the tree with a simple caption pointing others to "Home and Bargains."

The post quickly attracted attention, with other group members chiming in to share their own positive experiences. One enthusiastic commenter wrote, "We love our bargain tree!", highlighting the deal's popularity.

It appears this particular bargain is an in-store exclusive, as the tree cannot currently be found on the Home Bargains website. Shoppers will need to visit a physical store to secure one. The retailer's online range does feature other trees, with prices spanning from £5.99 to £69.99.

Supermarkets Join the Christmas Tree Price War

Home Bargains is not the only retailer offering cut-price festive foliage this year. Major supermarkets have also entered the fray with competitive promotions.

Tesco is providing a significant discount for its Clubcard holders, offering a real five to six-foot Nordman Fir tree for £20, slashed from the usual £40 price tag. The supermarket also has smaller Nordman Firs available for customers with less space.

This half-price deal is available until December 14 or until stocks last, so availability will depend on how many trees each store has remaining.

Time-Limited Offers for Cardholders

Meanwhile, Morrisons has launched its own promotion for More Card members. The supermarket is selling a 6ft (180cm) pine tree with wrapped branches and a plastic stand for only £10, a reduction from £20.

This offer was spotted by the Dansway Gifts and Bargains UK Facebook page. However, shoppers must act quickly, as this particular sale ended on November 30. The trees were available both in-store and via click and collect online during the promotion period.

The flurry of discounts indicates a highly competitive market for Christmas essentials this year, with retailers vying to attract customers seeking value during the costly festive season. For those still needing a tree, checking local Home Bargains stores appears to be the best bet for a last-minute bargain, while Tesco's Clubcard deal offers another strong option until mid-December.
