The Fitbit Sense 2, the most advanced Fitbit ever made, has dropped to its lowest ever price on Amazon, now available for £122.05. This represents a 23 per cent reduction on its previous list price of £158.99, and according to price tracking website Camelcamelcamel, it is the cheapest it has ever been. The saving is even greater against the original retail price of £219.99.
Fitbit Sense 2 Features and Capabilities
Released in 2022, the Fitbit Sense 2 remains the top of the current Fitbit range. It boasts an AMOLED display, built-in GPS, up to six days of battery life, round-the-clock stress monitoring, and the ability to perform an ECG to monitor heart health. The watch's sensors also track blood oxygen levels and skin temperature, and can alert users if their heart rate drops too low or climbs too high.
Like rival smartwatches, it delivers notifications from paired iPhone or Android devices, supports contactless payments via Google Pay, and provides turn-by-turn navigation through Google Maps. The Fitbit Charge 6, another worthy contender, features GPS, Google Pay, and Google Maps, and is currently available at an even lower sale price of £79, according to the Daily Record.
Comparison with Other Devices
Having reviewed the Sense 2 upon its release and used it for several weeks, at this price point it is worth weighing up against alternatives such as the £219 Apple Watch SE 3. The Apple Watch may be a superior choice for fitness enthusiasts seeking third-party app support on their wrist alongside health and fitness tracking, but it comes at a considerably higher cost. The Fitbit is the stronger option for those prioritising extended battery life who are not concerned about having apps such as Spotify or Strava on their wrist. Fitbit users can connect their Strava account to Google Health, ensuring runs and workouts are automatically synced to the platform.
Deal Details and Availability
The attractive £122.05 price for the Fitbit Sense 2 applies exclusively to the black model and is set to expire on July 24, 2026. An Amazon Prime subscription is not required to access this deal. The Fitbit App was recently renamed Google Health, complete with a thorough visual redesign, but this does not affect the capabilities of the Fitbit Sense 2.
