The deal, available until September 1, includes a £400 bonus on top of the standard trade-in value, potentially reducing the Pro model's price from £1,079 to as little as £229.
The new lineup, arriving on Thursday, August 20, includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Prices start at £879 for the base model, while the Pro edition comes in new Canyon and Olive color options.
Trade-in value and contract comparison
The £850 maximum trade-in is based on a 1TB iPhone 16 Pro, so other devices may fetch less. Even so, buying outright from Google often proves more cost-effective than a monthly contract. For instance, a Sky Mobile contract for the Pixel 11 Pro costs £30 per month with £12 upfront, totaling £1,092 over 36 months before any mid-contract price increases.
Compared to Google's maximum trade-in value, this equates to a potential difference of £863. Sky customers may also need a data plan, with unlimited data pushing monthly bills to £51, making the total cost £1,836 over 36 months.
SIM flexibility and additional offers
Purchasing the phone outright means buying a separate SIM plan, but the Pixel 11 Pro arrives unlocked, allowing shoppers to choose from various providers. For example, giffgaff offers an 18-month unlimited SIM at £14 (was £25) with EU roaming up to 5GB, or a monthly-rolling unlimited SIM at £20 (was £35).
Alternatively, Mobiles.co.uk is bundling a tech package worth £419 with the Pixel 11 Pro, including a £369 Pixel Watch 5 and £50 phone case. This comes with iD Mobile's 100GB tariff at £27.99 per month and £49 upfront.
Key features and early reviews
The Pixel 11 Pro includes the new Tensor G6 processor, which Google describes as its 'fastest and most powerful' ever, paired with a Titan M3 security coprocessor. It also features Gemini Intelligence for everyday tasks, a 6.3-inch Super Actua display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2, IP68 dust and water resistance, and an upgraded camera system with Pro Zoom up to 120x and 8K video.
Android Central's review praised the device, calling it 'spectacular' and recommending the Pro model over the base. The reviewer noted, "The Pro phones are spectacular. Convenient, beautiful and packed with tools that I promise will make you question why you haven’t gone Pro before." They also highlighted the Canyon and Olive colors as 'gorgeous.'
However, the review also pointed out that the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL are 'basically the exact same models as last year,' with improvements mainly in hardware and software.
