The opening date has been confirmed for a new coffee shop in Great Barr, which will take over a former post office that had fallen into disrepair. The establishment, named The Coffee House, is set to open its doors on Saturday, 25 March, according to the owners.
Transformation of a Derelict Site
The property, located on the High Street, had been vacant for several years and was described as an eyesore by local residents. The new coffee shop will occupy the ground floor, with the upper floor converted into a two-bedroom flat. The owners have invested £150,000 into the renovation, which includes new flooring, lighting, and a fully fitted kitchen.

Local councillor Bob Grice welcomed the development, stating, "It's fantastic to see this building being brought back into use. It will be a great addition to the area and will provide a much-needed boost to the High Street."
