M&S Merry Hill Unveils Fashion & Beauty Transformation
M&S Merry Hill reveals major fashion makeover

The M&S store at Merry Hill shopping centre has reached a pivotal moment in its extensive renovation, revealing a completely transformed fashion and beauty department. This significant reveal comes just weeks before the highly anticipated full launch of the Midlands flagship store.

A Phased Transformation

Over the past six months, the M&S Merry Hill branch has been undergoing a complete makeover, with new areas being gradually unveiled to the public throughout the year. The project, which began in May, is now in its final stages, with the entire 'mega store' set to be officially unveiled at the end of this month.

The latest phase focuses on the heart of the store's style offerings. The newly opened section boasts an impressive size and showcases the latest products from M&S’s partywear collection. Shoppers can now find the popular Faux Fur Single Breasted Longline Coat, which was featured in the retailer's latest Christmas advertisement.

What Shoppers Will Discover

The transformation encompasses three key areas:

  • Womenswear: A comprehensive range including evening wear, workwear, and everyday attire. The store also now features the brand's latest Per Una and Goodmove collections.
  • Kidswear: Customers will find a wide selection of daywear essentials and festive partywear for children.
  • Beauty Hall: A spacious 1,300sq ft area hosts a wide array of products. Shoppers can explore brands like Apothecary and Fresh Elements, alongside well-known names such as Clinique, ICONIC London, and bareMinerals.

To enhance the customer experience, the beauty department also includes a new consultation area and a dedicated beauty till for a smoother checkout process.

Preparing for the Festive Season

Rebecca Brain, Deputy Store Manager at M&S Merry Hill, expressed her excitement about the reveal. “It is brilliant to reveal our transformed womenswear, kidswear and beauty offers, including the latest partywear and new beauty brands to discover,” she said. “Over the last six months, we’ve been gradually revealing different parts of the store to customers and we are working hard on the finishing touches to deliver the very best of M&S Fashion, Food, Home & Beauty ahead of the festive season.”

Jonathan Poole, Centre Manager of Merry Hill, added his support for the development. “We’re thrilled that M&S has revealed another phase of its store transformation this time across women’s fashion, kidswear and beauty,” he stated. “With the festive period approaching, we’re confident that the new M&S store will be incredibly popular and we look forward to seeing the grand opening of the store later this month.”

This major store transformation follows the recent opening of a new coffee shop outside the store entrance last month, marking a comprehensive upgrade for the popular retail destination.
