Sainsbury's has issued a timely alert to its Nectar loyalty card holders, urging them to take advantage of a special festive promotion. For one week only, customers can purchase essential Christmas dinner vegetables for the remarkably low price of just 15p each.
The Limited-Time Vegetable Offer
The supermarket giant has confirmed it is rolling out its Christmas vegetable promotion from Thursday, 18 December. The deal will run for exactly one week, concluding on Christmas Eve. To participate, shoppers must have a Nectar card, which they need to scan at the checkout to unlock the discounted prices.
The selection of vegetables included in the 15p promotion covers all the classic trimmings needed for a traditional roast. Without the Nectar card discount, these items would cost significantly more. The full list is as follows:
- by Sainsbury’s Carrots 1kg (usually 69p)
- by Sainsbury’s Brussels Sprouts 500g (usually £1.00)
- by Sainsbury’s White Potatoes 2kg (usually £1.32)
- by Sainsbury’s Parsnips 500g (usually 74p)
- by Sainsbury’s Swede (usually 62p)
- by Sainsbury’s Red Cabbage (usually 79p)
- by Sainsbury’s White Cabbage (usually 79p)
Additional Christmas Savings
Beyond the core vegetable deal, Sainsbury's is continuing its Aldi Price Match initiative on other festive essentials. Shoppers can also pick up Sainsbury's Sage and Onion Stuffing Mix 170g for 45p and by Sainsbury’s Gravy Granules for Meat 170g for 62p, both in-store and online.
Furthermore, a separate Nectar Price is available on the Butcher's Choice British Pork and British Bacon Pigs In Blankets x12. Until 26 December, this item is priced at £2.50 for Nectar members, compared to the standard £3.25.
