Slim Chickens is opening a new, double-sized restaurant in Birmingham's Grand Central shopping centre on July 15, relocating from its current spot in the St David's Shopping Centre food quarter to a larger space next to Mowgli.
Expansion to Meet Growing Demand
The new location is more than twice the size of the previous restaurant, offering significantly more seating and an enhanced guest experience. The move reflects eight years of growing customer demand in Birmingham, according to the brand.
Ben Blore, Head of Operations at Slim Chickens, said: "We're incredibly excited to be opening the doors to our new Birmingham Grand Central restaurant. Since first opening in the city eight years ago, we've seen demand continue to grow, and our guests have given us fantastic support. Moving into a restaurant that's more than double the size means we can welcome even more customers while continuing to deliver the same fresh, cooked-to-order chicken and Southern hospitality that Slim Chickens is known for."
Menu and Opening Celebration
Guests can expect the same menu favourites, including hand-breaded, buttermilk-marinated chicken tenders, crispy wings, wraps, sandwiches, fresh salads and fourteen signature dipping sauces – all made fresh to order.
To celebrate the opening, the first 30 guests through the doors on opening day will receive three free chicken tenders, giving customers the perfect opportunity to experience Slim Chickens' famous fresh chicken.
Closure of Existing Restaurant
The existing Grand Central restaurant will close ahead of the move, with the new site opening just a short walk away, ensuring customers can continue enjoying their favourite Slims meals in a larger, more comfortable setting.
