Tesco's Veganuary Boost: New Bosh Frozen Meals Land Dec 29
Tesco adds new Bosh vegan meals for Veganuary

Shoppers at Tesco are set to see a significant change to the supermarket's freezer aisles in the final days of 2025, with a new range of plant-based products arriving just in time for the new year.

New Vegan Range Hits Freezers for Veganuary

The retail giant is introducing a trio of new frozen dishes from the popular vegan brand, Bosh. The launch date is set for December 29, 2025, strategically aligning with the start of Veganuary. This annual campaign encourages people to adopt a vegan diet for the month of January, often for health or environmental reasons.

The new ready meals, each weighing 400g, will be available in Tesco stores nationwide. The line-up consists of a Hearty Lasagne, a Tofu Tikka Masala, and a Comforting Veg Pie. According to reports, each meal will be priced at £3.75.

Bosh expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating: “Being able to bring yet more new, great-tasting, convenient, nutritious products to retail is massively exciting for us as a business.”

Further Product Expansion and Customer Reaction

This frozen food launch is not the only development from the brand. From February 2026, Bosh will also roll out a new range of seasonings on the Ocado platform. The blends will include Sweet & Smoky BBQ, Citrus & Spice Zesty, and a Rich & Savoury Umami flavour.

Early reactions from vegan consumers to Bosh's initial product releases in October have been positive. One social media user commented that the offerings looked “so good,” while another hailed them as a “game changer.”

Secret Code Could Help Shoppers Save

This product news coincides with a recent revelation from consumer expert Jordan Cox, known as the 'Coupon King'. He appeared on ITV's This Morning to explain a secret code on Tesco's shelf labels that can indicate when a Clubcard Price deal is about to expire.

The method involves looking for a six-digit number on the price tag that begins with '25'. By reading the numbers in reverse pairs, shoppers can decipher the deal's expiry date. The last two digits represent the day, the middle two the month, and the first two the year. This allows customers to plan their shopping and stock up on discounted items before the offer ends, potentially saving money on their regular purchases.

Tesco's latest move strengthens its plant-based offering ahead of a key retail period, while savvy shoppers have a new trick to help manage their grocery budgets in the new year.
