Samsung S26 Ultra Price Slashed by £288 at Sky Mobile Months After Launch
Samsung S26 Ultra Discounted £288 at Sky Mobile

Samsung's Latest Flagship Phone Receives Major Price Reduction

Samsung's premium Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone, which debuted earlier this year, is now available with a significant discount at Sky Mobile, offering consumers substantial savings on one of the market's most advanced devices.

Substantial Monthly and Total Savings

The discount reduces the monthly device plan payment from £45 to £41, saving £4 per month. Additionally, Sky Mobile has lowered the price of its 60GB data plan to £16 per month, cutting another £4 from the previous rate. Combined, these reductions result in a total saving of £288 over the contract period, marking one of the most notable price drops since the phone's initial release.

Instead of paying the full £1,699 upfront cost, customers can now spread payments through Sky's contract deal, which competes with offers from providers like Vodafone and EE. However, potential buyers should be aware of a £12 one-off charge to secure the contract and note that prices may increase during the contract period due to inflation adjustments, as stated in Sky's terms.

Exclusive Privacy Display Technology

The S26 Ultra distinguishes itself as the first mobile phone to feature a hardware-based privacy display. This innovative technology restricts screen visibility from side angles by directing light forward and creating a barrier around pixels, ensuring that on-screen information remains private. Annika Bizon, Samsung UK & Ireland Mobile Experience Vice President of Product and Marketing, emphasized the feature's versatility, stating, "You can turn it on for apps, messages, notifications or even passwords, if you just want specific things to be blocked out."

Enhanced Features and Trade-In Options

Beyond the privacy display, the S26 Ultra offers improved camera capabilities, including enhanced night photography, and a boosted battery life that can reach 75% charge in just 30 minutes. Annika Bizon highlighted this, saying, "The way I see technology is that it should have your back, and to get 75% battery in 30 minutes is pretty incredible."

For those looking to upgrade, Samsung provides an attractive trade-in program that can reduce upfront costs by up to £697, depending on the device exchanged. This program accepts older models from Samsung, Google, and Apple, including smartwatches, making it easier for consumers to transition to the new flagship.

The S26 Ultra was launched alongside the S26 and S26+ models, continuing Samsung's tradition of offering cutting-edge technology in its S series. With this new discount, the phone becomes more accessible to a broader audience, combining advanced features with financial savings.
