The Bell East Langton is set to host a 24-hour dart marathon to raise funds and awareness for two motor neurone disease (MND) causes: the My Name is Doddie Foundation and the Lewis Moody Appeal. All proceeds from the event will be split equally between these two vital charities.
Event Details
The inaugural marathon, organized by Neil Price—landlord of The Bell, avid darts fan, and Northampton Saints supporter—along with The Bell darts team, invites customers to participate at any point during the 24-hour period. Entry is free, and two dartboards will run simultaneously with a variety of fun, skill-free games and prizes on offer.
Location and Activities
The marathon will take place in the cozy snug room of The Bell, featuring a league-standard oche. The bar will serve ales, lagers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks. A band will perform from 8 PM onwards. During the day, BBQ food will be available in the garden, along with darts-themed outdoor games for children. A silent auction will feature items such as locally baked bread and Leicester Tigers or Northampton Saints rugby memorabilia.
