Croudace Homes Golf Day Raises £16,000 for Youth Homelessness

Local developer Croudace Homes hosted a charity golf day at Manor of Groves Golf Club in Hertfordshire, raising £16,000 for Herts Young Homeless (HYH), a charity dedicated to preventing youth homelessness in the region.

About Herts Young Homeless

Founded in 1998, HYH provides essential services to prevent youth homelessness through education, advice, and support for young people and their families. In 2025 alone, the charity directly supported 900 young people facing homelessness.

Golf Day Success

More than 100 players, including Croudace Homes employees and colleagues from the supply chain, participated in the competition. The funds raised will support HYH’s vision of ensuring every young person has a safe home, including outreach, counselling, essential home items, deposits, and rent in advance.

Charity CEO Comments

Jonny Whitehead, CEO of Herts Young Homeless, said: “This generous sum will go a long way in supporting our mission. We will help more young people stay safely at home, provide crisis support, and support 18-25 year olds through key transitions to independence.”

Developer’s Perspective

Karly Williams, Managing Director at Croudace North Thames, commented: “This was a brilliant opportunity to bring our team together to support a local cause. At Croudace Homes, it’s important that we not only deliver high-quality homes but also support the local community.”
