Strictly Air Ambulance Returns to Brentwood for 14th Year

The Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) is thrilled to announce the return of its flagship fundraising event, Strictly Air Ambulance, which is set to dazzle audiences once again at the Brentwood Centre. With nearly half of all tickets already sold, organisers are urging the public to secure their seats early for what promises to be an unforgettable evening of dance and philanthropy.

A Night of Glamour and Generosity

Scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, this marks the 14th edition of the beloved event, which last year raised an impressive £58,000. These vital funds are crucial in keeping EHAAT's helicopters operational and its critical care teams ready to respond to emergencies where every second counts. The event serendipitously falls on Mother's Day weekend, offering a perfect opportunity for families to celebrate with a memorable night out or a thoughtful gift.

Star-Studded Line-Up and Exciting Theme

Hosted by EHAAT charity ambassador Lisa Snowdon and ITV presenter David Whiteley, the evening will feature seven local contestants from diverse industries paired with professional dancers. They will perform ballroom and Latin routines inspired by a brand-new 'TV and Film' theme, all vying for the coveted Glitterball Trophy. Adding extra sparkle to the proceedings, special performances will be delivered by Strictly Come Dancing star Vincent Simone and his professional partner Victoria Martin.

Expert Judging Panel and Diverse Performances

The judging panel combines star power with professional expertise, including television personality and influencer Dani Dyer, Chelmsford Dance Centre director and head judge Phil Meacham, and British national professional showdance champion Ben Milan-Vega. Audiences can look forward to a rich variety of dance styles, from elegant ballroom routines evoking the glamour of the 1930s to high-energy Latin numbers. The evening will also incorporate playful movie magic, with theatrical routines inspired by beloved family films and a dramatic tango rooted in musical theatre.

This year's Strictly Air Ambulance couples are:

  • Gaby Giedraite (Colchester) and Bruce Lait

Mark Jarman-Howe, CEO of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Strictly Air Ambulance is always a highlight of our fundraising calendar.
