Taylor Wimpey Donates Wellie Racks to School Playground

Taylor Wimpey North Thames has once again supported High Leigh Primary School, this time with a donation of equipment for its playground. The housebuilder provided wellie racks valued at over £500 to help keep the playground tidy after rainy days.

School Development

High Leigh Primary School, located on the High Leigh Garden Village development in Hoddesdon, opened its doors in April 2025. The school is currently developing its new outdoor area and purchasing playground equipment. This latest donation follows an earlier contribution of an outdoor library earlier this year.

School Leadership Comments

Bryoney Hobbs, deputy headteacher and SENDCo at High Leigh Primary School, expressed gratitude: "The donation of these wellie racks is brilliant as it fully supports our outdoor play and learning ethos. It means all of our children have the chance to store their wellies safely and use them to explore our beautiful grounds without fear of getting muddy shoes. We would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for its continued support of our school. The children have also been enjoying their outdoor library that was donated earlier this year."
