An 83-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint during a terrifying encounter in the West Midlands. The incident occurred on Silver Street in the Brownhills area of Walsall, West Midlands Police confirmed.

The robbery took place on Wednesday, April 22, when the elderly victim was threatened with a knife and had her bank cards stolen. A short time later, the suspects used the cards to withdraw a quantity of cash.

In a social media appeal, a police spokesperson said: "Recognise these people? We want to speak to them after an 83-year-old woman was threatened with a knife and had her bank cards stolen on Silver Street, Brownhills on April 22. Cash was withdrawn a short time later."
