Early Morning Attack at Small Heath Convenience Store
A man has been arrested following a violent incident at a Birmingham convenience store in the early hours of this morning. West Midlands Police were called to Bob Shop 4 on Green Lane in Small Heath at approximately 2am today, Tuesday November 18.
Officers quickly established a cordon around the premises as they began their investigation into what appeared to be a serious assault.

Police have confirmed that a man was assaulted inside the shop during the incident. The victim sustained a head injury that required hospital treatment, though authorities have stated the injury is not believed to be life-threatening.

A police spokesperson told BirminghamLive: "We're investigating after a man was assaulted at a shop on Green Lane at around 2am today. The man was taken to hospital with a head injury, though this was not thought to be life-threatening. A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of wounding and remains in custody while our enquiries continue."
