West Midlands Police are investigating a shocking robbery in Darlaston where three men in a car deliberately rammed an e-bike rider before threatening him with a knife and stealing his bicycle.
Attack on Willenhall Road
The incident occurred on Willenhall Road at approximately 6.30pm on 10 May. The victim was riding his electric bike when a car struck him. The three occupants then exited the vehicle, threatened the man with a knife, and made off with his bike.
The victim sustained serious injuries, including a fractured arm and a shattered elbow. He was treated at the scene and later taken to hospital.
Suspect Descriptions
Police have released descriptions of the three suspects:
- Suspect 1: White male, wearing a black tank top, black joggers, and a balaclava. He spoke with a local accent.
- Suspect 2: White male, wearing a black tracksuit jacket, black tracksuit bottoms, and a balaclava.
- Suspect 3: White male, believed to be in his mid-30s, of large build, approximately 6ft 1in tall. He wore a black hoodie with the words 'World Gym' on it, had brown hair, and spoke with a local accent.
Police Appeal
No arrests have been made so far. West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. Detective Constable Sarah Jenkins said: 'This was a violent and targeted attack that left a man with serious injuries. We are determined to find those responsible and bring them to justice.'
