Lawless Gordon brothers jailed for drugs and assault

Two brothers described as 'lawless' and 'running amok' have been jailed for their roles in drug dealing and a violent assault. Kieran and Kyle Gordon, 30, appeared at Worcester Crown Court sitting in Redditch on Thursday, October 22, for sentencing.

Kieran Gordon, of Mill Road, Cradley Heath, near Dudley, was charged with possessing criminal property, being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin, possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, criminal damage, and inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent. His twin brother Kyle, of Middle Leasow, Quinton, Birmingham, faced charges of being concerned in the supply of heroin and assault by beating.

Drug dealing and police raids

The court heard that in April 2024, a car driven by Kyle with his brother as a passenger tried to evade police after being spotted near Shrub Hill in Worcester. The vehicle was later found parked in Blackpole, with 7 grams of heroin in a bag inside.

Later that month, police raided a home in Warndon where Kieran had been living, seizing items including phones used for dealing drugs and £3,000 in cash. The court heard that Kieran had a significant role in the drug dealing, while Kyle's role was deemed lesser, which meant he would receive a shorter sentence.

Violent assault in Kirkstone Drive

In February 2026, the brothers were involved in the assault of a man in Kirkstone Drive. Eyewitness descriptions from several people along the road were heard in court. One woman said she saw Kyle push the victim out of his Mitsubishi, while Kieran climbed out of an Audi carrying a four-foot-long metal pole.

One man described seeing Kieran chase the victim down the street before striking him across the arm and chest with the pole after the man fell over. The witness said: "It was like he was swinging a cricket bat at a ball."

The court heard that the victim managed to escape by reaching the Age UK store on Ambleside Drive, where several people saw Kieran being picked up by the Audi driven by his brother.

Sentencing and judge's remarks

In mitigation, the court heard that Kieran had been working hard while in custody and wanted to turn his life around and support his family, while Kyle had already served a significant amount of time behind bars before sentencing.

Sentencing, Judge Andrew Lockhart said: "It is my view that you have been running amok, breaching every type of order and dealing drugs. You have been lawless. I must sentence you proportionately for your offences. It is judgement day."

Kieran Gordon was sentenced to 60 months in prison, while Kyle received a 22-month custodial sentence. Judge Lockhart also ordered that the drugs, paraphernalia, phones, and cash be seized following the raid on the Warndon property in April 2024.
