Mobility Scooter User Injured in Hereford Van Crash

West Mercia Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a mobility scooter user sustained serious injuries in a collision with a van in Hereford.

The incident occurred on Wednesday 20 May at approximately 11:40 am on Holme Lacy Road, at the junction of Dinedor Avenue. A white VW Caddy van collided with the mobility scooter, leaving its rider with serious injuries.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment, and police inquiries are ongoing.

Police Appeal for Information

Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam or CCTV footage from the moments leading up to the incident to come forward.

In a statement, West Mercia Police said: 'We are appealing for witnesses after a collision between a van and mobility scooter in Hereford yesterday.'

'We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage from the moments leading up to the incident which could assist with our enquiries.'
