Police have launched a public appeal for information following a violent disturbance outside a popular cocktail bar in Stafford, which left a security guard assaulted.
Violent Early Hours Altercation
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 19 October last year, at approximately 2.25am, outside Casa cocktail bar in Stafford. According to Staffordshire Police, a man assaulted a security guard, sparking a disorder.
Officers confirmed that the suspect involved was also assaulted during the confrontation. The force has been conducting a detailed investigation, which includes speaking to bar staff who were on duty that night and meticulously reviewing available CCTV footage.
Social Media Footage and CCTV Appeal
Authorities are aware that video footage capturing part of the incident is being shared across various social media platforms. In a new development, detectives have now released a CCTV image of a man they are keen to identify and speak to in connection with their ongoing investigation.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police stated: "We’re appealing for information following an assault outside Casa in Stafford. We’re now releasing an image of a man we’d like to talk to in connection with the investigation."
