Police have seized a deadly shotgun and multiple rounds of ammunition during a targeted raid on a residential property in Solihull, leading to the arrest of two individuals.

Weapons Uncovered in Quiet Cul-de-sac

The operation took place at a home on Pendrell Close, a quiet cul-de-sac situated near the centre of Chelmsley Wood. Officers from the West Midlands Police Solihull Priority Crime Team executed a warrant at the address.

During a thorough search of the property, they discovered a shotgun and 13 rounds of ammunition. The haul was immediately seized and taken away for detailed forensic examination to gather further evidence.

Two Suspects in Custody

Following the discovery, police arrested a 25-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman at the scene. Both individuals were detained on suspicion of possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.

A police spokesperson confirmed that both suspects remained in custody for questioning by investigating officers.
