Three in Custody Following Serious Assault
Police have made three arrests following a violent incident in Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham, which left a young man with stab wounds.
The attack occurred on Saturday, November 23, at approximately 7:50 PM on Moat Croft. Emergency services rushed to the scene after receiving reports of an assault.
Victim Treated at the Scene
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man in his 20s who had sustained a stab wound and a facial injury. Paramedics provided immediate medical treatment at the location before the victim was further assisted.
West Midlands Police confirmed that the victim received care directly on Moat Croft in the aftermath of the violent altercation.
Arrests Made in Connection with the Attack
In a swift police response, three individuals were taken into custody. The arrests include two women in their 30s, who were detained on suspicion of wounding.
A man in his 20s was also arrested, facing more serious allegations. He was held on suspicion of wounding, as well as robbery and racially-aggravated harassment.
All three suspects remained in police custody throughout Sunday morning as investigations into the shocking event continued. The police have urged anyone with information to come forward to assist with their enquiries.
