Woman Injured in Leominster HGV Collision, Police Appeal

A woman in her 60s was injured in a collision with an HGV in Leominster on Saturday, May 23, prompting an appeal from West Mercia Police.

Incident Details

The collision occurred at approximately 7:30 PM on Barons Cross Road. The HGV was towing a trailer carrying a large digger at the time of the incident. The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 60s, sustained injuries and was rushed to Hereford County Hospital for treatment.

Police Appeal

West Mercia Police are urging anyone with information to come forward. In a statement, officers said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving an HGV and a pedestrian in Leominster on Saturday (23 May). The incident happened at around 7.30pm on Barons Cross Road and involved a pedestrian, and a HGV towing a trailer carrying a large digger."

The pedestrian was taken to Hereford County Hospital. Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time, especially footage capturing the moments leading up to the incident.
