A major Birmingham city centre building has been boarded up after sustaining significant damage in a vandalism attack last week. The Colmore Building, located on Colmore Circus Queensway, now has its windows covered with boards and paint splattered across the exterior.

West Midlands Police were called to the scene in the early hours of Friday, April 24, following reports of criminal damage. Officers found that several windows had been smashed and paint had been thrown onto the glass and walls of the building.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of criminal damage on a building on Colmore Circus Queensway at around 2.30am today. Officers are carrying out enquiries to identify those responsible, including reviewing CCTV footage."
