Doritos Recall: Chilli Heatwave Packs May Contain Milk

PepsiCo has issued a recall for Doritos Chilli Heatwave Flavour Corn Chips after some packs were mispacked with Doritos Tangy Cheese Flavour Corn Chips. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) warns that the affected product contains milk, but the packaging only states a precautionary 'may contain milk' statement, posing a risk to consumers with milk allergies or intolerance.

Affected batch details

The recall applies to 140g packs of Doritos Chilli Heatwave with batch code GBC 209 184C and a best before date of December 5, 2026. The FSA advises consumers who have purchased this batch and have a milk allergy or intolerance not to eat the product. Instead, they should return it to the store for a full refund.

Consumer guidance

The FSA stated: 'If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.' For more information or a refund, consumers can contact the PepsiCo Consumer Care Line at 0800 274777 or visit contact.pepsico.com/walkers.
