A man has been arrested after a woman was raped at a Wolverhampton hotel. The victim was attacked at the Novotel in the city centre on the night of May 13.
A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of rape following the incident at the Union Street hotel, near Bilston Street Island. He remained in police custody this afternoon.
Police Investigation
Officers were reportedly spotted speaking to hotel staff and guests today. A West Midlands Police spokesperson stated: "A man, in his 20s, has been arrested after an incident was reported to us at Novotel in Union Street, Wolverhampton, last night. The man arrested on suspicion of rape remains in police custody as investigations continue."
