West Midlands Police have arrested a suspect after a man was stabbed in Birmingham on Tuesday evening. The victim, whose age has not been disclosed, is in stable condition in hospital following the attack, which occurred in the city centre.
Incident Details and Police Response
Police were called to reports of a stabbing on Corporation Street at around 7:30 PM on Tuesday. Officers attended the scene and found a man with a stab wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he remains in a stable condition.
A 27-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of assault. He remains in police custody for questioning. West Midlands Police have said inquiries are ongoing.
