Police Seize Large Drug Stash After Solihull Vehicle Stop

Police in Solihull have uncovered a large quantity of drugs after stopping a vehicle acting suspiciously in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Officers spotted the car being driven suspiciously along Hobs Moat Road at around 3.30am on May 12 and ordered the driver to pull over.

During a subsequent search, a significant stash of Class A and Class B drugs was found on the front passenger side of the vehicle.

Four men, aged between 28 and 37, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.

West Midlands Police said: 'We responded to a report that a car was being driven in a suspicious manner along Hobs Moat Road at around 3.30am. After locating, stopping and searching the vehicle shortly afterwards, officers discovered a large quantity of Class A and Class B drugs on the front passenger side. The occupants of the vehicle, four men aged between 28 and 37, were arrested and taken into custody for questioning.'

The investigation is ongoing, and police have not yet released further details about the types or value of the drugs seized.
