Teen Stabbed in Oldbury, Life-Threatening Injuries

A 19-year-old boy is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in Oldbury on July 2. Police were called to Market Street at 12:15pm following reports of an altercation between a group of teenagers.

Police Investigation Underway

West Midlands Police have launched an investigation and closed Church Street to the public. Officers remain at the scene, speaking to witnesses and patrolling the area. A cordon is in place outside a Wetherspoon pub on Church Street.

Buses have been diverted, and The White Swan pub has advised customers to use the rear entrance. The police spokesperson said: "We know this will be worrying for residents in the local area, so would encourage anyone with any concerns to speak to one of our patrolling officers."
