Tributes have continued to pour in online after a man's body was tragically found in a Solihull street. The sad discovery was made near the junction of High Street and Berry Maud Lane at around 5.15am on Friday, July 17. Officers had been called to the scene following concern for a person's welfare. Tragically, the man was confirmed dead in the street, which is near a canal.

West Midlands Police previously said it was not treating his death as suspicious "at this stage." A file was being prepared for the coroner. A force spokesperson told BirminghamLive: "Officers were called to the junction of High Street and Berry Maud Lane, Solihull, at around 5.15am yesterday following concern for a person's welfare. Sadly, a man was confirmed dead at the scene. At this stage, his death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner."
