Belfry beach and WaveSurfer open for Bank Holiday fun

The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield is offering a mini beach and WaveSurfer bodyboarding experience over the Bank Holiday weekend. The outdoor simulator, located on Belfry Beach, is open to hotel guests and local visitors alike, with no need to be a guest or golfer to enjoy it.

The attraction has been running since the start of the school holidays and continues daily until Sunday, September 6. Visitors can enjoy the WaveSurfer, an ice-cream van, and a range of activities including Nerf gun battles, football darts, and inflatable axe throwing.

WaveSurfer experience and pricing

According to a spokesman for The Belfry, the WaveSurfer invites participants to "bodyboard, balance and ride the ultimate wave adventure." Riders take on the wave in groups, with breaks between turns to receive tips from instructors and get back on the board. The spokesman added: "Ride the waves, then jump into giant inflatable games and plenty of action-packed fun on the Belfry Beach."

Family-friendly facilities and surroundings

The beach playground includes giant inflatable games and challenges, designed to keep the whole family entertained. A large playground is also available and free to use. The event is open to hotel guests and local visitors of all ages, with the WaveSurfer designed for adults and children aged over six.

The Belfry is set within 550 acres of Warwickshire countryside and features three championship golf courses, an award-winning spa, and multiple restaurants. The attraction provides a summer activity option for families in the Sutton Coldfield area during the Bank Holiday weekend.
