Customer reviews and value for money
Boots describes the edit as featuring 'viral favourites' and 'hydration heroes designed to leave skin looking dewy, radiant and refreshed'. Customer reviews on the Boots website are largely positive. Gee commented: "Another fantastic beauty box from Boots. This is unbelievably good value for the quality of products that you get. 10/10." Another customer said: "I am so pleased with this beauty set that I am ordering another one as don’t want to run out. My skin after a week is starting to feel and look healthy with a natural glow. The moisturising spray is the best thing ever it keeps my skin soft and moisturised all day."
However, not all feedback was entirely glowing. Rachael wrote: "I was a firm fan of the previous K beauty box so decided to give this one a try, i do prefer the products in the previous box, especially the previous lip gloss. However this new box is great value for money and the products are very good. The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is the spray as I find it leaves my face feeling sticky, would have rather had a face wash. However, as the products I do like are very good value I have bought a second box to stock up." Cat added: "My favourite box that I’ve bought. Filled with fantastic brands and quality products for sensitive skin. Korean beauty care is the only thing that cleared my skin and made it glow, without causing irritation. I will use everything in this box and it’s a literal skincare routine with majority of full size products for £35. So worth your money and the most beautiful box!"
Reviewer's experience with the products
Dayna Farrington, a Senior Affiliates Multimedia Writer, tested the box and shared her thoughts. She noted that as someone new to K-beauty and J-beauty, she appreciated the variety of brands. "I've heard of the likes of Beauty of Joseon, Biodance and Dr Jart+. however others such as the likes of Laka, Curel and Genabelle are completely new to me," she said. The entire contents work out to £3.88 per product, with one product alone—the Dr.Reju-All Advanced PDRN Rejuvenating Cream—worth £25.90 on Boots' website.
Farrington praised the Dr Jart+ Hydro Firming Mask with Hydrolysed Collagen, which left her skin feeling firmer and hydrated, and she described achieving a 'glass-like look' that lasted until the next morning. She also tried the Biodance Collagen Gel Toner Pads, which she kept in the fridge for extra refreshment, and reported no irritation despite having sensitive skin. However, the standout product for her was the Curel Deep Moisture Spray. "I can't praise the Curel Deep Moisture Spray enough. I've seen reviews describe it as a 'holy grail product' and I have to agree. I've already ordered a second bottle," she wrote. She used it to combat dry skin during UK heatwaves and even kept it on her bedside table for a quick spritz at night.
