Brooklyn Beckham Blocks Family on Instagram After Victoria Likes Chicken Post

Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly taken the drastic step of blocking his entire immediate family on Instagram, including his famous parents David and Victoria Beckham. The move appears to have been triggered after his mother liked one of his social media posts.

The 'Like' That Led to a Block

The incident unfolded on Saturday, 21st December 2025. Brooklyn, aged 26, had shared a video in which he demonstrated how to prepare a beer-brined roast chicken. Victoria Beckham liked the post, which featured her son discussing his culinary process. "So it has been beer-brining for the last 24 hours and I'm just finishing putting some rosemary butter around," Brooklyn said in the clip, which was also promoting a clothing brand.

While many fans saw Victoria's interaction as a positive sign, it seemingly had the opposite effect. According to reports, Brooklyn was frustrated by this public display of affection from his mother. In response, he allegedly blocked not only Victoria but also his father David, brothers Romeo and Cruz, and younger sister Harper Seven.

Cruz Beckham Sets the Record Straight

Speculation grew when it was noticed the family were no longer following Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, on the platform. However, younger brother Cruz Beckham quickly took to his own Instagram to clarify the situation. He stated that his parents would never unfollow their son and revealed the truth of the matter.

"NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son. Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked... as did I," Cruz posted, confirming that the block came from Brooklyn's side.

Deepening Rift and Christmas Plans

This social media fallout is the latest development in an ongoing family dispute that became public earlier in the year. Brooklyn and Nicola notably did not attend David Beckham's lavish 50th birthday celebrations in May, and Brooklyn failed to publicly wish his father a happy birthday online.

The consequences of the block are significant. The Beckham family will now be unable to view any future posts or updates Brooklyn shares on Instagram. Furthermore, it is believed that Brooklyn will not be joining the family at their £10 million Cotswolds home for Christmas, despite attempts at reconciliation. Instead, he and Nicola are expected to spend the festive season with her family in Miami, USA.

A source suggested the block was a definitive statement from Brooklyn, telling the press: "It appears that Brooklyn has blocked them to show them that's it, this is final. It is very clear that this is a sign of his complete estrangement from his family." Representatives for Brooklyn Beckham have been contacted for comment.
