When a showbiz reporter discussed the video on TikTok, Keye responded directly in the comments, writing: "And finding him conveniently two weeks after we broke up, I love it personally ❤️" This remark was widely interpreted by fans as a 'shady' dig at the speed with which Davide had moved on.

Fellow MAFS UK bride Leigh swiftly intervened to counter Keye's claim about the relationship timeline. Commenting on a follow-up video, Leigh stated: "I can confirm that it was absolutely NOT 2 weeks, more like 2 months?. Davide is extremely happy and I think that’s what’s most important here?"
