YouTube star Conor Maynard has launched a scathing social media attack on The Traitors contestant Charlotte Chilton, capitalising on a viral trend amid their bitter and ongoing paternity dispute.
A Controversial TikTok Post
The 33-year-old singer posted a video to TikTok following the news that Charlotte, 32, had undergone major brain surgery last week. Charlotte was treated for trigeminal neuralgia, a chronic pain condition she has described as "physical torture".
In the clip, set to Tame Impala's song The Less I Know the Better, Maynard participated in a trend where users reveal phrases they overuse. The text that flashed on screen read: "Are you SURE you didn't sleep with anyone else?" – a clear reference to the paternity controversy surrounding Charlotte's one-year-old daughter, Penelope.
Wearing a yellow jumper and a red New York Yankees cap, Maynard's post was met with a mixed reaction from followers. While some fans called the move "embarrassing" and urged him to stop, others praised it as brilliantly petty.
The Ongoing Paternity Battle and Health Struggles
The public spat stems from Charlotte's long-standing claim that Maynard is the father of her child, despite two separate DNA tests confirming he is not. The second test, concluded earlier this year, was conducted at a Ministry of Justice-accredited facility selected by Charlotte herself.
Following those results, Maynard expressed a desire to "move on" and draw a line under the matter. Charlotte, however, maintains her belief that the tests are incorrect.
Her health has added a layer of complexity to the situation. Before her recent surgery, Charlotte shared a photo from her hospital bed on Instagram, stating the procedure was daunting but necessary for long-term relief from the crippling pain.

Amid Maynard's denials and the DNA evidence, a new figure has emerged. Jonny Holloway, Charlotte's co-star from The Traitors, has reportedly claimed he also had a relationship with her around the relevant time and has requested a DNA test.
Charlotte has denied sleeping with Holloway. According to his account, she has since refused to engage with him on the paternity issue after initially agreeing to a test.
