The daughter of acclaimed Hollywood actor Tommy Lee Jones has been found dead in a hotel room in San Francisco. Victoria Jones, who was 34 years old, was discovered on New Year's Day.
Emergency Response at Luxury Hotel
According to reports from US media, emergency services were called to an upmarket hotel on the 900 block of Mason Street in San Francisco in the early hours of 1st January 2026. The San Francisco Fire Department stated they attended the scene at approximately 3:14 a.m.
A source described the incident, stating a white female in her mid-30s was found unresponsive. Hotel staff were alerted and performed CPR, but she was pronounced deceased by the ambulance crew upon their arrival. The case was subsequently handed over to the San Francisco Police Department and the Medical Examiner.
Life in and out of the Spotlight
Victoria Kafka Jones was born on 3rd September 1991. She was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley, to whom he was married from 1981 to 1996. The couple also have a son, Austin, aged 42.
Victoria made her film debut with a small role in her father's blockbuster Men in Black II in 2002. She continued to appear in several projects connected to him, including a 2003 episode of One Tree Hill and a part in the 2005 Western The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which Jones directed.
As an adult, she largely stepped away from acting but occasionally appeared in public with her famous father. She notably joined him on the red carpet for the premiere of his film Just Getting Started in 2017 in Hollywood.

The cause of death is currently unknown and remains under investigation by the San Francisco Medical Examiner's office. Police have asked anyone with information to contact the SFPD.
