Music on the Farm 2026 Returns to Support Martha Trust

A popular music festival is making a much-anticipated return to the scenic fields near Deal next month, aiming to raise essential funds for a local charity. Music on the Farm 2026 will take over Solley’s Ice Cream Parlour in Ripple on Sunday, June 14.

Event Highlights

Martha Trust’s flagship event promises a full day of live music, family-friendly activities, and delicious food. Gates open at 11:30 AM, with main entertainment running from noon until 8 PM. A host of local performers will take the stage, delivering a diverse mix of musical styles ranging from folk rock and bluesy beats to dance classics. The lineup includes Muzz and Joe Duo, The Upsetters – Still Upsetting, Situationist!, Lofty Harris, Shiva, and Grooveshack.

Additional Entertainment

Entertainment will also feature dance displays from Dance with Danni and performances by Deal Ukulele Club. Jonathan Brown from The Landmark Centre Deal will host the day as the new compere.

Family Fun Zone

Families can look forward to an extensive Kids’ Area, offering six hours of children’s entertainment coordinated by Lizzie Willis. The fun activities will be delivered by Errin Ashby-Fendt and a dedicated team of workshop leaders. Parents will be pleased to know that all children’s activities in this dedicated area are included in the ticket price. Additional attractions include face painting, hair glitter, Karl’s festival stall, permanent jewellery, and Lashes with Sasha.

Wellness and Community

Guests can also enjoy massages with Mother Earth Therapies, a visit from the Fire Brigade, and traditional fairground games at the Martha Tent. Official photographers Chris Mansfield and Amy Green will capture the special moments throughout the day.

Accessibility and Amenities

Accessibility is a key priority for the organisers, with Accessoloo on site providing a fully accessible mobile toilet facility. This mobile unit includes an adult-sized changing bench, a hoist, and a friendly attendant.

Food and Drink

Festival-goers can enjoy a wide range of Kent-based food and drink vendors, including The Larder, BJ’s Pizza, Bagel Rock, and Big Pan Foods. Drinks will be available from Solley’s bar, the Ruby Rose and Pearl Horsebox Bar, and the Penny Events Pimm’s Bar. Sweet treats will be offered by Quality Coffee for You, KC Confectionary, Crumble Cups, and Solley’s Ice Cream. All partner vendors are donating 20% of their sales back to Martha Trust.

Fundraising Activities

The day will also feature a large auction, a raffle, and an exciting Barrow of Booze prize draw.
