The highly anticipated launch of Love Island: All Stars is finally set to hit screens tonight, Thursday 15 January 2026, after a dramatic postponement caused by wildfires near the production base in South Africa.
Show Back On Track After Safety Evacuation
Host Maya Jama personally confirmed the exciting news that the reality TV juggernaut is back in business. In an exclusive Instagram announcement made on Wednesday, a glamorous Jama revealed she was heading to the villa to begin filming immediately for the launch episode.
"I've got some very exciting news," she said. "I can officially announce exclusively that we are back up and running. I'm obviously in glam, I'm going to go to the Villa and start filming in a minute. You can watch us on ITV tomorrow night [this evening] at 9pm. Love Island All Stars is back!"
Production Halted Over Wildfire Concerns
The good news follows a tense few days for producers after the initial launch was scrapped. On January 10, ITV released a statement confirming the delay, citing the evacuation of the production team due to ongoing wildfires in the region surrounding the South African villa.
The broadcaster stated that an assessment of the location site concluded filming needed to be postponed, firmly adding: "Health and safety is our greatest priority and will always come first." The transmission was delayed until a date to be confirmed, leaving fans in limbo.
Islanders Ready For Second Chance At Love
With the crisis averted, the stage is now set for the return of some of the show's most memorable alumni. The all-star line-up includes fan favourites from across the series, such as:
- Millie Court (Series Seven)
- Jess Harding (Series Ten)
- Tommy Bradley (Series Twelve)
- Shaq Muhammad (Series Nine)
- Ciaran Davies (Series Eleven)
The official Love Island Instagram page echoed Jama's announcement with a playful post, noting: "Maya’s got her rollers in, so that only means one thing: All Stars is back on, baby! Watch the launch at 9pm on Thursday."
Viewers can now tune in to ITV2 at 9pm tonight to see which iconic islanders will be the first to enter the villa for their second shot at finding love.
