Love Island All Stars 2026 Postponed, Anniversary Special Airs Tonight
Love Island All Stars delayed, Decade of Love airs

ITV has been forced to delay the hotly anticipated launch of Love Island All Stars 2026 after wildfires in South Africa disrupted production. However, fans will still get a dose of villa drama tonight as a special anniversary episode fills the schedule.

Why Love Island All Stars Has Been Postponed

The network announced the setback on Saturday, 10th January 2026. Filming at the South African villa, located in the Western Cape, was halted after the site had to be evacuated due to spreading wildfires. An official statement from ITV confirmed the delay, prioritising the welfare of cast and crew.

"Further to a production evacuation owing to ongoing wildfires in the area, our assessment of the location site has concluded that filming will need to be postponed," the statement read. It added, "Health and safety is our greatest priority and will always come first, and therefore the transmission of Love Island: All Stars will be delayed until a date to be confirmed."

What's Airing on ITV Tonight Instead?

Despite the All Stars launch being cancelled, ITV2 and ITVX will still broadcast Love Island content tonight, Monday 12th January. Instead of the new series, viewers can tune in to Love Island: A Decade of Love, the show's 10-year anniversary special.

The special episode will air between 9pm and 10.35pm. It first aired in June 2025 and features iconic former islanders like Gabby Allen, Curtis Pritchard, Catherine Agbaje, and Dani Dyer reflecting on how the reality TV phenomenon changed their lives.

What Happens Next for All Stars?

As of now, ITV has provided no further update on a new start date for Love Island All Stars 2026. The delay is indefinite while producers assess the situation in South Africa and secure a safe timeline for filming to resume.

The confirmed lineup for the All Stars series, which includes surprising shared histories and rumoured exes reuniting, will have to wait a little longer to enter the villa. Fans are advised to keep an eye on official ITV channels for the next announcement regarding the series premiere.
